Ingredients

  • 2 large bell peppers I used one red and one yellow
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the peppers: Slice 2 large bell peppers into ¾-inch (2 cm) strips, removing the seeds and stems. Mince 1 clove of garlic into small, fine pieces.
  • Season: In a medium bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil with 1 clove of minced garlic. Add the pepper strips and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon of salt and black pepper and toss again.
  • Air fry: Arrange the peppers in a single layer in your air fryer basket. No need to preheat, just set it to 400℉ (205℃) and cook for 11 to 13 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the peppers are tender and slightly charred on the edges. Finish with black pepper to taste, and a little more salt if you like. Serve warm and enjoy!
