Instructions

  • Assemble your pretzel sets: Choose about 40 pretzels to make 20 matching pairs: tree, bell, and snowflake shapes work best. Place a piece of soft salted caramel between two pretzels to create a sandwich, and repeat until all sets are assembled.
  • Melt the chocolate: Prepare the dark and white chocolate melting wafers according to the package directions. Since every microwave heats differently, start off low and slow. I usually use the defrost setting for 2 minutes, then continue in 1-minute intervals, stirring between each round until perfectly smooth.
  • Dip and decorate: Dip half of each caramel pretzel sandwich into the melted dark chocolate, then repeat with the white chocolate for the remaining pretzels. These caramel pretzels dipped in chocolate look gorgeous when sprinkled immediately with gold glitter pearls. Let them dry and harden completely before serving.
